I told you I had a lot of these things...
|
KYOTO, 1990
When we retired to our rooms at the ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) in Kyoto, we found one of these notes on our pillows. Needless to say, we did have a good sleep. |
NEW ORLEANS, 1989
On a weekend trip to New Orleans, I purchased these pralines. I don't like pralines, but I HAD to have the box. |
PARIS, 1989
Pere Lachaise cemetery is one of the most interesting sights in Paris. Above is my very own numbered guide to the graves of such luminous mortals as Oscar Wilde, Isadora Duncan, Seurat, Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison. |
SAN FRANCISCO, 1988
My first visit to San Francisco and my first ride on the California Street cable car. Little did I know that one day it would be my principal mode of transportation. |
LONDON, 1988
These British-made condoms were available in a vending machine at a bar in Earl's Court. I was taken in by the packaging; a plentiful selection of condoms housed in a box resembling a pack of cigarettes. I had to have a box. Don't worry, the condoms are long gone. I just saved the box and the 'how to put one on' instructions (above). |
